Tin Can Craft Ideas Made With Recycled Material

You can make tin can craft ideas from your recycled tuna, soup and any other tin cans. Juice cans make great candleholders and you can use the tuna cans for tea candles.

It is so easy to make a candleholder. Wash your can and remove the label. Fill the can almost to the top with water and then set in your freezer.

You can either make a paper pattern the size of the can or you can free hand a design. If you use a paper pattern all you need to do is tape the paper on after the water has frozen. Next, take your hammer and nail and punch a hole and follow the lines of your design. The frozen water helps keep the can in its original shape.

After the design is all done let the water thaw. When the can is completely dry you can now paint the can or leave it in its original color. I like to paint mine so that they match my décor.

You can make these tin can candleholders for any occasion. Make them for parties, holidays, graduation, bridal showers or even baby showers. Customize them for the event. Christmas candleholders can be made with poinsettias or holly or even a snowman. There are no ends to the possibilities you can do with tin can crafts. Just let you imagination go and you will be surprised at what you can come up with.

These candleholders look great on your patio or deck. They sure brighten up the evening with their light. Make different sizes and put them in an arrangement. You can put anything in the grouping like nuts, leaves, artificial flowers or anything that celebrates the occasion.

There are so many tin can craft ideas, all you have to do is use your imagination. Just take your time and your creativity will show through your own designs. Have fun making your own tin can crafts!!

If you have found a unique way to use tin cans or have any tips and want to share, please contact me and I will add it here. Also, if you have any questions I will try and answer them or find someone who can.
